JIM & CAMMIEL PAY A VISIT

Forget the North - South divide, our delightful Mississippi friends hit the North,  South , East and West End this weekend on a flying (literally) visit to the Great Smoke. Of course no trip to Camden Town is complete without some purchase of great rock’n’roll memorabilia and Jim was quick to snap up this t-shirt for their son. Cammiel thought it was a little disrespectful. Jim clearly agrees.

Though they had packed their galoshes and souwesters, Jim and Cammiel were disappointed to find the British weather quite uncooperative and sunny. We had a good rummage around Spitalfields.

We also took in Equus at the Gielgud theatre. An excellent performance. No irony in the fact Jenny Agutter kept her clothes on while Daniel “Harry Potter” Radcliffe showed a suddenly hushed audience his willy in the famous stable girl scene. It’s fair to say that while this took some, erm, balls Jim and Nigel frankly seemed more interested in his opposite number, played by the lovely Joanna Christie.
