Recordings

I’ve been writing and recording music for a number of years now. For a while I did take guitar lessons with Rob Teegarden of Ritmo Junction and he taught me a great deal about scales, chords and song structures. Consequently, a lot of my songs use some of the typical jazz stand sequences such as II-V-I and extended chords.

More recently I’ve been listening to a lot more folk-influenced music and some of the simpler sequences can be just as rewarding to write. A while ago one of my songs, London in April, made Washington Post editor’s pick of their local music website. So I did hit the small time.
