SNOW BUSINESS

Just when we thought we'd escaped the winter without any major weather - we had about
8 inches of snow accumulate in one night. More than 2,000 flights were cancelled
in the region on Sunday and thousands of people in the states of Maryland and New
Jersey were left without power. Much of the northeastern US, from Washington to Boston,
was 24 inches of snow.
Pud and Georgie had a great time though they found it difficult to run through the
drifts in the back yard. Our neighbors built an igloo in the cul-de-sac complete
with beer holders. The down side of snow is that paths and driveways have to be shoveled.
