Central Saint Martins Fashion Show

London Fashion Week

February 20 2009

 

I attended our university’s 2009 show. This is one of the highlights of London Fashion Week which shows the Spring and Summer collection. This show highlights the work of Central Saint Martins (CSM) masters programme students.

The audience includes buyers from major fashion outlets such as Selfridges, Harrods, and Harvey Nichols. Also in the audience are investors who back up-and-coming designers. In the world of fashion the London show is known for its edginess. One theme to emerge this year was sustainability. Students go on to work fro the prestigious fashion houses such as Dior and Chloé in Paris.
